Kesar Pista Ice Cream(Pistachio Saffron Ice Cream)

Two wonderful flavors combined to make this awesome Ice Cream at home and that without any ice cream machine!


  • 1/2 Teaspoon, Saffron Threads
  • 1/4 Cup,Warm Milk
  • 1 Cup, Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 3/4 Cup or More,Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup, Custard Powder Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup,Milk Powder / Dry Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon, Pista Milk/Pistachio Essence / Pista Essence
  • For Garnish - Sliced Pistachio

  1. In bowl,add saffron and warm milk.
  2. Mix once and let it sit for 30 mins to get the saffron flavor mixed in milk.
  3. In a large bowl add whipping cream and sugar,whip till soft peaks form.
  4. To this add the custard powder and Milk Powder.
  5. Next add the saffron infused milk,pistachio milk/essence and mix well.
  6. No need to whip it.
