Halloween Meatball Eyes


  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely minced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp beef bouillon, or salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 12 oz bottle chili sauce
  • 14 oz can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • mozzarella, sliced
  • black olives, sliced
  • candy googly eyes
  • red food coloring

  1. Place rack in center of oven then preheat to 400 degrees. Meanwhile, lightly coat baking sheet with non-stick spray then set aside. Place ground beef into a large mixing bowl, add onion then set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, bouillon, pepper and Worcestershire sauce until the eggs are well beaten and the bouillon has dissolved. Pour the liquid mixture over the beef then mix until combined
  3. Add breadcrumbs into the beef mixture then mix until they are evenly distributed and the mixture is thick.
